The work of the Early Childhood Advisory Council is best accomplished through broad collaboration with the support from additional agencies and organizations not included in ECAC membership by state statute. The Interagency Collaboration Committee (ICC) is a working committee of the ECAC which includes leadership from all member agencies and others including, the SC Commission on Higher Education, SC Educational Television and the SC State Library. The ICC provides a unique opportunity for those top-level agency leaders who are most focused on early childhood to meet bi-monthly. This working group networks, evaluates information, shares agency events, explores new opportunities, and works collectively to build our statewide early childhood system.
